In the year 1973, Sani Musa Danja was born into a family of seven, five boys and two girls. He lost his father, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi in his late teenage years before his mother Hajiya Risikat also died in the year 1997 { Sani Danja biography History Age Movies}

Sani Musa Danja is currently a household name when you refer to Kannywood and also the Northern Nigeria music industry. He is known for his unique costumes and Indian style song and dance routine. The ‘Danja’ in his name was not given to him at birth but it has been with him since his childhood days because of his then stubborn and persistent attitude.

The Kannywood industry maestro got his primary education at the `Yan Sanda Special Primary School from between 1979 to 1980, before he proceeded to the Government Junior Secondary School Kawaji for his junior secondary education, then furthered his education when he eventually attended FCE Kano where he successfully obtained his NCE certificate. Due to his great thirst for knowledge, he went for his Advanced Diploma in Public Administration at FCE Kano in the later part of 2004.

Sani Danja is one Kannywood actor who never fails to delight his fans on and off the big screen. He ventured into the Hausa movie industry in the year 1999 in the movie titled “Dalibai (students)”, a film which was directed and produced by him and his business partner Yakubu Muhammad.

Sani Danja steadily climbed the ladder of fame and success due to his hard work, determination and sheer talent. He is a naturally born entertainer, of a  very good dancer, and he is also blessed with a sonorous voice that never seized to thrill his large fan base.

NEWS: Black Saturday: Fire kills ten newborn babies in Indian hospital

Ten newborn babies died on Saturday in a fire at a state-run hospital in western India, officials said. There were 17 infants in the unit for sick newborn babies when the fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday at the Bhandara District General Hospital in Maharashtra state. Seven infants died due to smoke suffocation, and three from burn injuries, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope told reporters. Seven babies were rescued by the nurses and ward staff. All the infants were aged between a few days and three months, Bhandara district health official Prashant Uike said. The government has ordered a probe into the incident and a safety audit of all neo-natal care units in the state. Initial reports indicated that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in one of the incubators, Tope said. “The staff said the ward quickly filled with lots of black smoke,” the minister added.
